Starting on 18th March, Penguin UK is launching its most ambitious digital writing project to date. In collaboration with fêted alternate reality game designers, Penguin has challenged some of its top authors to create new forms of story – designed specially for the internet. Over six weeks writers will be pushing the envelope and creating tales that take full advantage of the immediacy, connectivity and interactivity that is now possible. These stories could not have been written 200, 20 or even 2 years ago.
Cinema should by now have attained some measure of cultural respectability. But many literary critics still view film at worst as the illegitimate offspring of theatre and photography, and at best as a vulgar, commercial medium, capable very occasionally of achieving its own aesthetic identity; while film theorists tend to value work that is the sole creation of writer-director auteurs. But both revere the same pantheon of film-makers and disdain film adaptations of novels, especially when those novels are much-loved classics.

Um ein einzelnes Wort in Word zu formatieren, markiert man es normalerweise mit Doppelklick. Der Nachteil dieses Verfahrens ist, dass automatisch auch der folgende Leerraum markiert wird und dieser die zugewiesene Formatierung übernimmt. Das will man in vielen Fällen nicht.
Einfacher geht es, indem man den Cursor mit EINFACHEM Klick irgendwo in das zu formatierende Wort setzt und die Formatierung zuweist. Dann wird nur das Wort selber OHNE den folgenden Leerraum formatiert.
