Man kann es nicht oft genug predigen: Thou shalt not send long URLs.
Immer wieder postet jemand z.B. bei Enpaed ellenlange Links, die von einigen (vor allem älteren) Email-Programmen in eine neue Zeile umgebrochen werden und dadurch nicht mehr funktionieren. Dadurch entstehen entsprechende Nachfragen („Link funktioniert nicht“) und unnötiges Hin- und Her. Das alles könnte man sich sparen, wenn man das Long-Link Gebot beachten würde: Thou shalt shorten long links with TinyURL.
